Bingo at 103!

Bingo Beats the Blues! I was heartened to see the oldest Bingo player in the UK had just turned 100. How wonderful to remain in the local community and not only that, but also test your reflexes, motor skills, memory and functionality. I started to go to Bingo at the local hall when my children were little. I missed my friends and talking to them without the children calling me away all the time. I missed the interaction involved in going out but couldn’t handle partying anymore! Bingo was the answer. I loved the fun, the banter of the caller (I don’t like automated callers!) the giggles and that was enough for me.

And then I won! It was such a thrill and did so much for my esteem. Now my daughter is old enough to choose the buzz of Bingo over the partying too and her and her friends go! I am so proud of them all especially when they win! I haven’t tried online Bingo – it’s cheaper and perhaps I will one day but until then I am content with my dauber until at least my 101 birthday!
